Riders this past week have boasted that the trails have been amazing, and the minimal amount of traffic has been a huge bonus!
All good things must eventually come to an end. With temps hovering in the upper 30s and low 40s all week, we’ll see some significant melting. You can expect road crossings and many of the road routes to be increasingly bare. But, if you are willing to push through those areas, you’ll still find some great riding out in the woods. This could be the final week, so get out there and enjoy!
Unless we get some major weather changes, the Barnstormers will be doing very little grooming from this point on. It tends to do more damage than good when temps get this warm. The hills will also be getting very icy.
If you do plan to ride, be sure to call ahead to any of your usual stops as many have already closed for their usual spring break.
