Promoting Safe Snowmobiling Since 1996
SnowTracks.com was born online in the summer of 1996, becoming one of the first websites dedicated to helping communities, snowmobile clubs, Chambers of Commerce, and tourism organizations promote snowmobiling through the internet. At a time when the web was just beginning to change how people traveled, SnowTracks pioneered online snowmobile trail condition reports and snowmobile event listings, helping riders discover new destinations across North America.
Nearly three decades later, that mission remains stronger than ever.
Today, SnowTracks continues to connect snowmobilers with weekly trail condition reports, snowmobile events, destination information, organized group rides, and the latest news from snow country. Our goal is simple—to help riders find the best conditions, discover new places to ride, and create unforgettable memories with family and friends.
Over the years, SnowTracks has introduced millions of snowmobiling enthusiasts to premier riding destinations while helping communities increase winter tourism throughout the United States and Canada. We proudly support the organizations and businesses that make snowmobiling possible, from local clubs and tourism agencies to the restaurants, lodging establishments, and businesses that welcome riders every winter.
It’s All About Fun & Friendships
Snowmobiling is more than a sport—it’s a lifestyle built on adventure, camaraderie, and lifelong friendships. People who love to ride enjoy sharing the experience with others, whether it’s planning a weekend getaway, exploring new trails, attending snowmobile events, or joining organized group rides.
The heart of SnowTracks is our growing community of riders who share trail reports, riding experiences, photos, stories, and travel ideas while helping fellow snowmobilers make the most of every season.
Growing Our Trail Reporting Network
SnowTracks is continually expanding into new riding destinations and is always looking for partners to help keep snowmobilers informed.
If you’re a Chamber of Commerce, Visitors Bureau, Tourism Association, Snowmobile Club, or a local business such as a restaurant, bar, lodge, resort, or dealership, we’d love to feature your area with regular trail reports, local events, and destination information.
Help us showcase your trails and introduce thousands of riders to everything your community has to offer.
