Oneida County trails will officially open on Friday December 19th, 2025 at noon. All lakes and river trails in Oneida County are considered unsafe ad dangerous and should not be utilized until they have been clearly marked.
When they open, the trails are in rough, early season condition.
Logging roads, rail grades will be the best bet to go out and enjoy the snow. Swamps are froze, but will need more snow to fill in holes, ruts, etc.
As always, stay between the blazers. Club members have spent hundreds of hours to prepare the trails for the opening. Let’s try to respect the landowners so we can all enjoy the sport.
