Trail Report – : Iron County, Michigan – January 30, 2023

Reporter:Colleen
Trail Conditions: Good
Snow Cover: 12-18 inches
Date of Report: January 30, 2023
Area Report:

Our trail system is in Very Good to Excellent condition.. the groomers and operators are out daily.  The cold temps over the past 5 days have really helped to set up the freshly groomed trails.  We had a small group of riders that stayed over last night to ride again today because the trails are in such good shape.. we love hearing that!!  Thank you Iron Range Trail Club and Chippewa Sno-Kats Trail Club… you guys are doing a “Fantastic” job!!

Trail #2, Trail #16, Trail #116, Trail #107, Trail #113, Trail #18 to Republic are reported to be in Very Good to Excellent condition.

Trail 15 S – reported to be in Good to Very Good condition.

Trail #111 – to Sidnaw is being groomed now and in Good to Very Good condition. The swap area has finally frozen over and the groomers can get out on that trail now.

Trail #15 N to the intersection of #111 still remains closed do to a bridge issue.

Looks like it would be a great week or weekend for some trail riding here in Iron County… hope we see you soon.  As always be safe on the trails.. a “Thumbs-Up” when meeting or passing a groomer and operator sure means a lot to those guys out there working on the trails.

Hope to see all of our snowmobile buddies soon… trails are AWESOME!!  You can go any direction you want… north.. south.. east.. or west… we have SNOW!!!

Time To Ride Y’all !!!!    🙂
