Trail Conditions: Excellent
Snow Cover: 18 - 25 inches of current snowcover
Date of Report: February 23, 2026
Area Report:
Our trail system is open and currently being groomed on a regular basis. We received over a foot of new snowfall last week. The snow came in on Wednesday and continued through part of Saturday. Our temps are remain in the teens to middle 20’s through most of the week. Great news for the grooming schedule. We are suppose to see warmer temps on Friday, but then dropping back down again on Saturday and Sunday into the teens. This is all good news for the snowmobile trails. Currently, trails are all in very good to excellent condition, and will remain this way throughout the next week. Perfect time to come up and hit the trails.
Trail Conditions – Excellent – Trails #2, #107, #15 N, #111, #116, #16, #113 and trail #18
Very Good – Trail #15 S.
Honestly, if you make Iron County your hub, there should be great riding in all directions this week and weekend! As a reminder, please remember to ride right, watch the corners for all oncoming traffic and give the groomer operators the space they need to keep your trails flat & smooth. It’s been a great snowmobile season and it looks like we are going to have a few more weeks of good riding. 🙂
Happy Trails!! 🙂
