Remain CLOSED
The Vilas County Snowmobile Alliance have NOT voted to NOT open the trails should SNOW arrive. With that said it is looking like no opening this year. Haven’t seen a sledding season like this in a long time. Last I remember was in the mid-80’s. Actually much of the 80’s were up & down. With low SNOW in the early 90’s. Then we got clobbered with SNOW in ’95. Spoke to a man who remembers in 1973 there was little or no SNOW. He remembered as it was the year he moved up to Eagle River.
In the meantime come on up and patronize the local businesses!
