SNOWMOBILE TRAILS IN EAGLE RIVER
Plenty of SNOW with Varying conditions
Winter continues in Eagle River & all of Vilas County! Skies remain cloudy which is just prefect to keep the trails in good shape. No evil sun. It is going to pop up for the weekend so yep I need you to THINK COLD! Monday back down into the mid 20’s. Low to middle 20’s until next weekend. Monday nigh temps will drop.
There has been bits of Lake Effect SNOW everyday. Not amounting to much. Just enough to cover the vehicles. Start DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE!
Big night of grooming Groomer Tracking System shows most trails were groomed to get ready for the weekend. So today here are the trails NOT GROOMED
- Uncle Kent
- Manske Swamp aka 3N
- Chanticleer Inn which is off 10E heading to Eagle Lk
- GrampGrahm aka 1 which is off 10E starting by Catch 22
- 17N from intersection of 1 heading east to Columbus Rd
Catfish & Eagle Lake trails are marked. No reports of surface slush. Please stay by the orange reflective barrels.
Caution Areas
Not much change & in general found trails sections especially in swamps have rough areas. Covered with plenty of snow but the bumps have set in the base & it is hard to correct.
