SNOWMOBILE TRAILS IN EAGLE RIVER
Good on average

Lots of SNOW on all trails. A pop up of temps. High today of 30 & low of 24. SNOW starting this afternoon & continuing through Saturday. Today 1-3 inches. 1 inch each of the rest of the days.  If you can try to get out today & tomorrow.  Mid week riding is the best!

There is plenty of SNOW so please stay on the marked trails.  Private landowners are letting the clubs use their land.  We as riders must stay on the trails or we will lose trails.

Catfish & Eagle Lake Trails are MARKED & OPEN.  Stay by the Orange Reflective Barrels to be safe.

Groomer Tracking System shows in the last 24 hours MOST trails were groomed with the exception of a few short sections.  Those sections are:

  • Trail 13N from intersection of 13N & 13C (Deep Lk Rd area) to Bauer’s/Conover connect. 13C is groomed
  • Manske Swamp aka 3N
  • City trail from behind O’Reilly to Trigs Shell to Bloom Rd.
  • 17N from 1 intersection to Columbus Rd.
  • GranpaGrahm aka trail 1

Caution Areas – In general found trails sections especially in swamps have rough areas.

Here’s a favorite ride for me. From downtown Eagle River head south on what we call “the grade”, trail 10/13 to ALT 13. Left at Willow Rd which is trail 10E.  Heading east all the way to Three Lakes Trail 8, we call it the “Kimball Creek trail”. East all the way to Chicken in the Woods Rd to Hwy 32. Don’t use Big Stone trail as it is not safe yet. Right turn & all the way to Sunset Grill.  Three Lakes Trail 8 to Corridor 13.  Head north on 13 into Three Lakes where you pick up “the grade” trail Alt 13 & head north back to Eagle River. 50ish miles.

KEEP THINKING COLD & DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE!

See you on the trails!
