Trails are in on average Poor to Fair Early Riding Condition
With new SNOW
The total SNOW Thursday & Friday totaled about 2-3 inches east of Eagle River.
Trails are covered with new snow. Not as much as was forecast but will take it. Trails are still in Early Riding Condition with conditions at Fair to Poor. The new SNOW covers hard frozen ground covered with an ice base in most areas. Crusty frozen snow under the new SNOW. As of last night most everything was covered.
No grooming overnight.
Catfish & Eagle have been marked by businesses on the lake. This includes the spur to Eagle Waters. Stay by the markers to be safe. All are SNOW covered with surface slush reported on both lakes. This happens when temps pop up hard ice underneath.
PLEASE REMEMBER WHILE VILAS COUNTY TRAILS ARE OPEN, ONEIDA & FOREST ARE NOT. PLEASE DO NOT RIDE IN THOSE AREAS. This includes Three Lakes, Sugar Camp & Newbold which are all in Oneida county.
