All in all trails are Very Good
Winter continues & the temps have dropped with a schiff(inch or less of new SNOW). More SNOW tomorrow, Friday & Saturday. 2-3 inches reported. On Sunday temps drop to single digits during the day & below zero at night until next Wednesday when they rise into the 10’s. Then back into the freezer. SNOW off & on. The La Nina WINTER is going no where. So it’s time to ride!
GTS Tracking shows grooming last night. Almost a full session. To make it easy here are the NOT GROOMED AREA:
Trail 10E from Eagle River that connects to Three Lake Brule River Trails
Trail Trail3/17 from where you cross hwy by the Derby Inn
Trail 1 that goes to the Eagle Lake boat landing.
Couple of notices:
As of this writing the Trail10/13 the section called the Wisconsin River Bridge has been TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Heavy slush at the approaches & water on top of the ice. This begins at Trail 3N west to Trail 13 at Deep Lake Rd. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RIDE THROUGH THERE. THE AREA IS GATED OFF.
Reminder that Trail 13S does not run all the way to Three Lakes as a portion was closed. Club is working on a re route.
Eagle Lake was marked by businesses. Safety lights at entrance & exit from/to the lake trail have been installed.
Catfish Lake is NOT MARKED. Uncertain it will open as there are no businesses open on the lake this winter.
