EAGLE RIVER TRAILS
OPEN – Fair to Good
FLORENCE, FOREST, IRON, ONEIDA, PRICE & VILAS County Snowmobile Trails OPEN

Amazing what 4-5 inches of new SNOW can do!   Trails have moved to Fair to Good.  As always best riding is out of towns. NEXT SNOW NEXT FRIDAY. Check out what was groomed below.

NOTE: Trail 10E out of Eagle River becomes a one way from the ERRA SPORTS ARENA all the way to Mikes Gas Station.  It runs alone Hwy 70E.  The south side of the trail is ONE WAY going EAST only.  The north side of the trail is ONE WAY going WEST (back to Eagle River). Intersections are clearly marked with ONE WAY trail signs.  Very dangerous to go the wrong way.

As to temps. For the next week day time highs will be in the teens with the exception of next Saturday.  At night single digits tonight & then below zero every night until Saturday.

GTS Groomer app is a good place to see what was groomed.  Last night nearly a full grooming:

  • Trail 10E – this is a one way trail on both side of Hwy 70E.  This includes Trail 1 toward Chanticleer, GrampGrahm that heads to EagleWaters Resort & 9 mile.  Remember all Counties surrounding Vilas are now open.
  • Trail 10/13 heading through town to the 10E turn
  • Trail 10W/13N to Conover connect
  • Trail 10W/13N aka Wisconsin River Bridge trail to the west side
  • Trail 13N heading up to the Bauers/Buckatabon connect with Conover
  • Trail 17N all the way north & east to Trail 1 that runs to Eagle Lake crossing
  • Trail 3N – note 3 is now re routed along side of Hwy 45 heading N to connect with 10W/13N
  • Trail 10W & 7 – NO GROOMING
  • Club Trail toward Hwy G & Uncle Kent’s – NO GROOMING
  • Trail Alt 13 – Club trail for local traffic – NO GROOMING

Catfish Lake & Eagle Lake Trails are marked with orange reflective barrels.  Stay by the barrels as there is no guarantee the rest of the lakes are safe. Lots of lakes have ice heaves so be safe & stay by the barrels wherever you ride.

With Pond Hockey on Dollar Lake by the Chanticleer Inn trail 1 that crosses Eagle Lake may have congestion.

Special Shout out to Dollar Lake Retreat, Chain Lake Log Lodge – Bayside Rental & the Eagle River Area Chamber for sponsoring the Sno-Eagles Eagle River area SNOW TRACKS Snowmobile Trail report!!!

Great to report Fair to Good Trails!

See ya on the trails!
