SNO-EAGLES
EAGLE RIVER TRAILS
OPEN – EARLY SEASON RIDING
Frosty cold Christmas morning! Windy gusts now but less frequent! Slight chance of a bit more SNOW maybe inch or 2.
Grooming in full force & groomed most of the trail system on Christmas Eve while we celebrated. Here’s what was groomed:
Trail 10/13 to the Conover connect
Trail 10 aka Wisconsin River Bridge & down to Boot Lk Rd toward Uncle Kent’s
Trail 13 aka Bauers route ALL groomed
Trail 17N to Phelps connect
Trail 1N to Eagle Lake Boat Launch – reminder Eagle Lake not marked
Heading west Trails 10/7/13 that run together groomed to Honey Bear
Trail 17S/7 groomed to the 7 aka Paintball Field trail turn west to the turn around
Trail 3 aka Manske Swamp & Trail 17S from the Trail 7 turn south are still not frozen up enough to run a groom through. Mushy but you can get through.
Going to be COLD so dress warm, stop often, have a phone with you, and most important let someone know where you are riding.
As to the 2 lake trails in Sno-Eagles/Eagle River trail, Catfish & Eagle. Neither are marked so not safe. Daily checking of ice depth. Should be marked by next week.
One last reminder as you ride you will meet a groomer. They are big & can’t pull over for us. So pull over & let the driver direct you. And oh ya give ’em a thumbs up. They groom so we can ride!!!
Keep DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE!!
See ya on the trailsToday!!!
