EAGLE RIVER TRAILS
OPEN AT 8AM TODAY – DECEMBER 19
The Vilas County Snowmobile Alliance agreed to open the Vilas County Snowmobile Trails Today Trails are in very early riding condition. Eagle Lake & Catfish Lake are NOT OPEN due to unsafe ice conditions. Here is the official announcement by the Vilas County Forestry, Recreation & Land Department

Roller coaster temps yesterday. High of 38 & by 8pm last night it was in the low teens with winds & SNOW. Only about an inch this morning east of Eagle River. At 5:30 this morning it is 6 degrees with a high of 14. More SNOW off & on over the next couple of days. Night time temps single digits with high of 25 tomorrow & 13 on Sunday.
Trails have been panned with the exception to trail 10/13 aka Wisconsin River Bridge just north of Eagle River. As you ride you will run into all types of conditions. Very early riding so slow down & ride right
