Area Report:
So Mother Nature has done her damage. Been warm and sun has been out last several days. Road routes are down to the pavement, most trails are down to the icy base. Pioneer and Buckatabon Lakes are no longer marked with barrels. North Twin is still marked, make sure you ride by the barrels when crossing and watch for changing conditions.
We last groomed on Sunday night, and other clubs have stopped grooming. We are keeping an eye on Trail 8 between Muskrat Creek Rd and US-45. If the base is gone, we will close that section to protect the bike path. As of now, Vilas county trails are still open.
