Your Online Trail and Travel Guide for Snowmobiling the U.S. & Canada

Trail Report – : Conover, Wisconsin – February 18, 2026

Reporter:snobuddies
Trail Conditions: Good
Snow Cover: 4”
Date of Report: February 18, 2026
Area Report:

We received 4” of wet heavy snow. And with the cloud cover, the evil sun isn’t out. Hopefully some sleds are out to pack this down to the trail. When I was clearing my driveway of snow, it was pushing off across the icy base I had. I hope this doesn’t happen when we groom tonight. I guessing we will treat it more like a panning event to pack it down.

As you ride, remember there is glare ice under this snow. Corners can become tricky. Slow down and enjoy the ride.

More snow in the forecast for Friday. No hard totals from that one yet, but should be all snow.

Dont forget about the ice heave on North Twin. Stay by the barrels and slow down when crossing. It is marked with signs and lights at night. Speed limit is 55 mph at night.

Ride Right, Ride Safe!
