Snow Cover: 5 to 6 inches on the trail
Date of Report: February 14, 2020
Area Report:
Our trails continue to be in mostly good condition. Most corners are very icy so caution is advised. We really need a good 4 to 6 inches of heavy snow. We are having a lot of heavy traffic this season, so by later afternoon, the trails are very rough. However, we will be out every night to smooth them out again for the following day. The earlier the bird gets the smoothest trails!
PLEASE continue to stay by the markers on lake crossings. Do NOT trust the ice anywhere else on the lake.

Winter Snowmobile and All-Season Trails (As of 2/14/2020)
Currently, ALL of Douglas County trails are open and are reporting great to excellent condition. Please note, deer have been reported on trails, so please keep an eye out while traveling.
PLEASE check the trail you intend to use is open and do not trespass on private property. It is critical that we respect the landowners who allow us to utilize their property. It just takes one owner to deny the use of their land for a trail to be permanently shut down, so please be courteous and wait for the trails to officially open.

Trail report for February 14, 2020 – Trails are good. Happy Valentine’s Day! This morning the temp in Boulder Junction was 25 below zero. Brrrr! Bitter Cold. Riding the trails at these temps can be very dangerous. Cold weather injuries and mechanical failures can occur very quickly. Use extreme caution! We were out grooming last night and will be out grooming throughout the weekend. With the lack of snow on the trail many spots and corners can be icy. No snow is expected until maybe Monday. Please join us at our breakfast fundraiser held at the Boulder Beer Bar this Sunday February 16, 2020 from 8:30 to 11:00. All proceeds go to trail maintenance so if you like great trails for snowmobiling, support this event! Stay on marked trails! Remember to be safe, ride right, and enjoy the ride.
