Boulder Junction, Wisconsin

Reporter:boulderwi
Trail Conditions: Good
Snow Cover: 8-10
Date of Report: February 12, 2026
Area Report:

At 1:00 p.m., it’s 30 degrees out with sunny skies dropping to 16 degrees tonight. Then we are
in for a warm up with temps in the low 40’s with sunny skies from Friday through next Tuesday.
We last groomed 2W, 8W, 51, 15N, and 6E last night and 8E, 11, and 51S early this morning. We
will be out grooming 2W, 8W, 51, 15N, and 6E tonight.
Our trails are in great shape right now. Best riding will be the rest of today and tomorrow
before the warm up begins. With the upcoming warm up, the sun being out, and the heavy
traffic, the trails can deteriorate rapidly. We will curtail grooming when the temps get much
above freezing, but will get out at night if possible.
We have 2 fundraisers going on this week. On Thursday 2/12, we will be having our Spaghetti
Fundraiser at the Rustic Roadhaus starting at 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday 2/15 we
will be having our Breakfast fundraiser at The Guides Inn from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m..
Please ride safe, ride right, and enjoy the trails and area businesses while in our neck of the
woods!
Look for an updated trail report on Monday, 2/16.

When there isn’t snow on the ground, vacationers come from across the Midwest to boat, paddle and swim the area’s 194 crystal clear lakes. The fishing for musky, walleye, bass and panfish is second to none. And Boulder Junction’s biking and hiking trail system is among the best in Wisconsin, offering both paved and unpaved trails. Simply put, Boulder Junction is the classic Northwoods vacation destination.
