All in all trails are Very Good to Excellent

Weather changes by the minute in northern Wisconsin. Today & tomorrow a daytime bounce up into the 30’s.  Even some sleet tonight.  SNOW tomorrow looks a schiff. Then the temps slowly move downhill.  20’s & teens during the day & single digits at night with SNOW off & on ’til Sunday.  Then single digit highs & below zero ’til Thursday the 21st.  Stay tuned might change.  Trails will stay in shape because there is the ice base & plenty of SNOW on top  Chance some trails will fatigue out if there is heavy traffic.

GTS Tracking shows groomers out in full force last night.  Here’s the latest:

Couple of notices:

Reminder that Trail 13S does not run all the way to Three Lakes as a portion was closed.  Club is working on a re route.

Trail 10/13 the section call the Wisconsin River Bridge has been TEMPORARILY CLOSED.  Heavy slush at the approaches & water on top of the ice. This begins at Trail 3N west to Trail 13 at Deep Lake Rd. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RIDE THROUGH THERE.  THE AREA IS GATED OFF.

Eagle Lake was marked by businesses. Safety lights at entrance & exit from/to the lake trail have been installed.

Catfish Lake is NOT MARKED. Uncertain it will open as there are no businesses open on the lake this winter.
