Snow Cover: 5 inch -+ ice base covered with 8-12 inches of groomed SNOW

Plenty of SNOW

  All in all trails are GOOD TO VERY GOOD

Heading into a roller coaster weather pattern with temps slowly rising.  Single digits today for a high & overnight. Saturday & Sunday looks to be possible 2 inches of SNOW.  Starting Monday temps head uphill into the 30’s during the day & low to mid 20’s at night. Pattern of Sleet into SNOW.  Next Friday & Saturday the 9th & 10th SNOW moving in.  With 4 inches +- as of now. Weather can change so stay tuned.  Time to THINK COLD!

Last night almost full grooming according to GTS Tracking.  Here is what was NOT GROOMED

         Trail 70W toward St. Germain
         Trail 7N aka Paintball Field/17S/13S toward Sugar Camp
         Trail 10E/13S local access to Loon Lake Rd
          Trail 1S aka Grampa Grahm                                                        

  Eagle Lake was marked by businesses. Safety lights at entrance & exit from/to the lake trail will be installed shortly.    

New spur off the Trig’s trail.  It takes you Chubby’s Family Restaurant.   Here is the location. Right click photo to enlarge.

Out of State Trail Pass – $50
Vilas County Map It Trail App GPS style app of all trails in Vilas Cty.  Plus includes the brown 3 digit emergency numbering system. If an emergency happens call 911 & give them that number.  Find you quicker.
